The Waitress

We just watched this movie and I have to say I really loved it. I love Keri Russell anyway, but I thought this was so real life and touching. Having lived in a very small town and having been engaged to a total loser, I can definitely relate. I know this movie got critical acclaim at the Sundance Festival but I do wish it had more popularity amongst the general public. I mean, really. THIS compared to some of the other crap that's out there? PUHLEASE. Dr. Daddy says it's definitely a chick flick. He's probably right. It made me miss my Mom.

Saddest part of the movie? Dr. Daddy said to me "So, Keri Russell...isn't she your age?" "Yes", I say. "Well, she looks damn good.", he said. Great. Thanks.

I saw that movie a couple of weeks ago, and really enjoyed it. I remember when it came out; it disappeared very soon.

I loved that movie, too. I think Keri Russell seems so real and not like your typical Hollywood movie star. It was a quirky movie, I laughed and cried.

I really want to see this and am waiting for it to come on one of my movie channels (HBO, Sundance, etc.) Yes, that actress Adrienne Shelley (?) was killed by an illegal immigrant construction worker. Law & Order even did a copycat episode of it. She was the writer of the whole thing. I saw Kerri Russell on The View when this movie first came out which is how I know all of this. It's all kinda fascinating. In addition to the movie, I'd love to see 48 Hours Mystery (or someone like that) to do an episode on her murder. Yeah, I'm sick that way!
