TRULY Proud to be an American

If you've tried in the past few days to view the P. Diddy video you've most likely discovered that it's been removed from YouTube. To all of you who sent me comments insisting that this was not an Obama approved message I simply have to say...DUH.
That wasn't my point. The point was that the ignorance that is so richly prevalent in our country is staggering. The point was that there are actually people out there who listen to P. Diddy and take his advice. The point was that P. Diddy was making a salacious attempt to defame Sarah Palin with absolutely no knowledge of her background. THE POINT was that this is the pathetic rationale that many people will use as an excuse to vote for Obama. It wasn't anti Obama. It was anti stupid. P. Diddy can't even decide on a name, what makes him qualified to decide for us who our next President should be?

On a lighter note, my Dad sent me this video this morning, which I find much easier to watch. A true American hero.

I didn't get to see the P.Diddy video and now I can't watch this one because my stinkin computer at work doesn't have speakers! AGH!

But I agree that people are so ignorant these days. Instead of doing their own research to determine whether they agree with a persons political stance, they just listen to their neighbor or some popular person in the media - who most likely has no idea what they are talking about! AGH!

I hated the P.Diddy video. I thought it was disgusting.

I'm glad they took it down. 'bout time.

Thanks for posting this video. With the liberal media that we have, we never hear the other side of the story.

I hope that people will think hard about the issues and not listen to celebrities opinions. I am sure if you quizzed them, most would not have a clue what the issues are.

This is what the liberal media neglects to show! Thank you for posting this and enlightening many. SO many take for granted the freedom we have in this country and we all need to stand up defend this country in any way that we can. God Bless America!

One thing that truly bothers me is this over and over emphasis on who the rest of the world wants us to vote for. The guy on the disgusting MTV video awards show the other night isn't even from this country and within minutes of the show he's off on his we must vote for Obama rant or else we're all racists. I must have missed the first black Prime Minister of England back when he/she was elected.

The BBC just released a poll that shows the rest of the world wants Obama, and Obama supporters will tell you this matters. Oh really? How? Does the rest of the world have our interests at heart? Of course not. And until they can come over here and vote, then just be quiet. The Obama supporters will keep pushing this line of argument, but the rest of us who value what Americans want over what the rest of the world wants says shut the hell up.
