Feelin' the Love

I had to post this picture of an invitation that I found on Weddings By Socialites. This is absolutely, 100% how my future MIL felt the day Dr. Daddy and I got married. I've never seen it put into words so perfectly until now...

OMGosh I almost spit out my drink. This is too funny. Not because you think it applies to you but for the wording. Thanks for making me smile!

i'm blessed...my in-laws are awesome and when i say awesome, i mean awesome...father-in-law's toast included "i already have four daughters and adding you as our fifth is a blessing..." hubby and i were both in tears...

omg. am DYING laughing. same deal here except he was in med school and i was the one with a job supporting his hiney. and, yes, i do believe that entitles me to never. work. again. now that he's done with the years upon years upon years of school/residency.

did i mention that it's 8:30 and he's still out at some continuing ed crapola? i put all 3 kids to bed shortly after 7!!! my only coping mechanism is a crazy-early bedtime.

Too funny, the invite that is, not the fact your MIL felt that. Ya know, I visit everyday because I like your blog and even though we don't have a lot of common I appreciate the differences and just enjoy reading what you have to say. And I don't comment on everyone's site everyday, just the things that naturally bring out a response, so I thought it was time to say hello. And I am sorry your kids never got to meet your mom. That is sad and it gives me something else not to take for granted.

Hmmmmmm...Wonder if I can perhaps edit it and use it in three years when my son the "by then" lawyer starts thinking about getting married. I can't imagine that there's anybody out there good enough for MY boy!

That is SO funny! I am still laughing.

That was so good! My MIL told everyone that I was taking her son away from his family. By moving him to the BIG city; 45 minutes away, just far enough so she couldn't drop in.

That is SO funny! I'm sure that's what most guys' moms think of us girls. No one is good enough for their little angel! I'm pretty sure this is how my husband will be feeling when our girls get married.
