Our little Republican

For those of you who love Hillary Clinton, you might want to skip this blog entry. It's no secret around here that Dr. Daddy and I are pretty conservative. We even named our daughter after our favorite president (and her name is NOT Carter!). So I found it hilarious the other day when BabyGirl picked up this magazine and said "Hey, there's that liar lady!". It would seem that she and Dr. Daddy have been hitting the Fox News Channel pretty hard lately.

She then noticed that Dr. Daddy had made good use of his time in the O.R. by creating some lovely artwork and decided she'd go one better and bust out the Sharpie.

We're so proud.

Love that pic of Hilary!

Actually, re: my paint color I'm wanting a dark kakhi...I may have misrepresented what I was wanting when I said Chocolate milk. I would still love to know the color of the chocolate color you were referring to.

Tee hee. Train them while they're young - of course our four year old will look at a picture of W and say "look, there's the mean man who makes everyone so sad."

I do love your daughter's sweater, by the way. Where did you find it?

I'm with you sister. Elephants are big at our house too. In fact, I am just finishing an elephant/flag needlepoint belt for my husband.

And I'm guessing you also did NOT name the daughter "Bush"..........

No, her name is not Bush!!! It's Reagan. Her sweater is Lilly Pulitzer. I think it's from last season. Glad you like it!

Your blog is just adorable! I cracked up at the first post that I read of yours, but this one takes the cake--too funny! If only your daughter could vote!

P.S. That reminds me of my oldest daughter (now 12) who back in 2004 pre election came home from piano lessons one day and told me that she saw a Kerry bumper sticker on her piano teacher's car. When I made a face she eagerly asked "Does this mean I get to quit piano?!!"

Uhhhh, no. Nice try though. lol.
