Despite my Republican roots and the fact that all libs seem to think we're plastic worshiping, water wasting gluttons, I do feel really guilty everytime I request paper at the grocery store. They have those really neat .99 reusable bags you can buy at the check out, but really, who are they kidding? You can't even fit a large box of Cheerios in one of them. What's the point?
These adorable bags from RuMe are perfect! They're stylish (a must), but more importantly, they're roomy! I was even able to get some that match my boring brown Volvo. Not bad!
Oh, and just so we're clear...I'm much more likely to be seen in the jeans and orange cardy than the silver spandex. I'm just sayin...

yeah! glad you like them too! they really are surprisingly cute considering their purpose. i use mine to tote misc. crap around sometimes too. i do get some stares at the grocery store from time to time.....i can tell they're thinking i'm high mtnc. and am that girl that goes as far as having "cute" grocery bags. it is what it is.

Totally agree with you Republican's comment and how we are portrayed! As a fellow Republican I bought those cheap .99 bags and they don't hold a whole lot ... these are super cute! Thanks for sharing all your great ideas Sippycups!
What a great idea! I am a huge fan of re-usable grocery bags. Target makes a HUGE one that is about $2 (just don't let the bagger put the heavy stuff in it). I also use my old tote bags. Nothing screams preppy like carrying groceries to your car in a monogrammed tote bag!
