This is Sunset Beach, NC, right? My family and I went there every summer from 1989 to 2003. Can you take a picture of the bridge, please? I know they finally replaced the old swing bridge with a causeway. I have such fond memories of the yucky old pool shop on the right when you came over the bridge. It was so decidedly UNritzy when we went and since we started going somewhere nicer, I don't think it has been as much fun...and I never say that!
I'm a newer reader to your blog and have noticed that you vacation often in Sunset Beach, NC. My parents have a second home down there as well and we absolutely love it! We try to get down there at least once a year, but not sure if we are going to make it this time. We are so saddened :( Hope you and the kiddies had fun!
