Today has just been one of those days. Wicked PMS. Dr. Daddy started out on a tear as well, but I informed him that there was only room for one PMS'er in this house and I get dibs since mine's hormonal. That said, he decided to take a drive in the fast car. Not SO fast, buddy. BabyGirl "wants" to go, too. He, he.
About an hour after lunch, I couldn't take it anymore. I REALLY try not to say shut up to my kids. I just despise the way it sounds. I just blurted out to BabyBoy:
Me: Would you just let me have FIVE minutes where you don't talk to me? Just five minutes. Don't call my name, don't interrupt a phone call...nothing. Is that too much to ask?
BabyBoy: Well, I could, but I just have TOO much that you NEED to hear.
AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I have now locked myself in the attic. Maybe I need a time out.
Haha - PMS & kids really don't mix well do they?
ReplyDeleteI said it to my little boy the other day too. Now he is telling me that. GRAND. I try not to say it too, unless I have been pushed to the edge.
ReplyDeleteI agree! This would be the perfect time for the Manny! Surely he would see you need some time alone and take the kids for an afternoon with a movie and a trip to the park!!
ReplyDeleteDo you sew for others or just for you?
It happens to us all, believe me!!!
ReplyDeleteI am always putting myself in a time out! :) i TOTALLY understand what your day was like!!!
ReplyDeleteHow funny...but so true!! Take some much needed time for just you!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I so feel you on that. I flipped out on someone today over the dumbest thing.
